Some Turboprop engines have RGB (Reduction Gear Box) integrated, while others have separation RGB. And the prototype of this type was developed in the 1950s. The RGB separation type is often used in large engines exceeding 4,000 horsepower, and is still mainly used in military cargo aircraft. The feature of the separation type is that the gas generator can be diverted to the ground generator and the marine engine as the turboshaft engine. There are both direct drive type and free turbine type turbine types. A.
