Turboprop Engine Modified Parts (No.2)
cults3d
I am a designer of the following "Turboprop Engine". The 3D model can be viewed at https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/turboprop-engine. Recently, I designed and created a third engine. Several parts were modified to make printing and assembly easier as follows: - 02-03 Comp-IGV-case01 was renamed to 101ws with the addition of a boss for secure attachment. - 03-09,10 Interm-Case Cut01, 02 was consolidated into one piece type, improving alignment. The new part is called Interm-Case 01ws. - Turbine-HP-NGV01 (04-08) was modified to Turbine-HP-NGV101 with thicker vanes for improved rigidity. - Similarly, Turbine-IP-NGV01 (04-10), Turbine-LP-NGV01 (04-12), and Turbine-HP-Rotor01 (04-09) were renamed to Turbine-IP-Rotor101, Turbine-LP-Rotor101, and Turbine-HP-Rotor101 respectively, with thicker blades for improved rigidity. - Additionally, 04-07 Turbine-Case101b was modified to Turbine-Case201b to improve NGV position, while 04-14 Turbine-Shaft01 became Turbine-Shaft201 to improve rotor position. A "Rotational Stand" has been added. Additional rework includes: - If the AL Tube aft end is not provided with a slot, please create a slot for turning. - STL files (6 files) are available; see photo for details. - AL Tube and Piano Wire and Wood plate: see photo for assembly requirements. - Appropriate screws can be used for Wood Screws. - Assembly points will need to be adjusted based on the model created. - No special 3D printing settings are required. It is expected that this design should become easier to make. However, please note that this is still a challenging model to print and assemble, and perseverance may be necessary. Thank you for your interest.
