Turbofan Engine, 1st Generation
cults3d
This is an imaginative replica of a high-bypass turbofan engine that significantly contributed to the beginning of the jet airliner era in the 1960s. (First Generation) The high bypass engine seems to refer to an engine having a bypass ratio of more than 2. Bypass ratio of this model is greater than 5. This type of engine is ducted over only part of the length of the engine, making it easier to assemble. A.
