This spacer ensures secure attachment of the larger pipe from the 150 HP European Diesel VW to the US spec (90 HP) car. If you're unsure about ABS, consider using Brass instead. Alternatively, if you have a 3D printer and a Diesel VW, share your experience here. You can find these parts for sale on eBay and TDICLUB; they might not sell quickly but are likely the first open-source car part available online. To install, reduce or turn down on a lathe, add an M6 x 35 bolt, pass through the factory rubber grommet on the passenger's rear side of the motor, and secure in place for a properly mounted TIP (Turbo Inlet Pipe).
