I've built a turbo-style ventilation fan using 3D printing. It's been put to good use in my workshop to extract hazardous soldering fumes. I repurposed a 48v power supply, speed controller, and spindle from an old CNC machine project that never saw the light of day. Any robust AC/DC motor would suffice for this application. This fan has become a valuable addition to my workspace, efficiently removing all toxic fumes generated during soldering operations. The ventilation ducts used measure 3m in length and 100mm in diameter.
