WARNING - This prototype tool spins at an extremely high speed (over 60,000 rpm) and may pose a serious physical risk to the user. The internal components are not thoroughly tested, so potential damage or injury can occur if proper safety precautions are not taken. Please exercise extreme caution when handling this device, as it could easily lead to serious consequences. I have developed an adapter that perfectly fits RichMac's impressive turbine-powered rotary tool, allowing for precise control and high-performance operations. The adapter is designed to connect seamlessly to the turbine via a friction fit mechanism with a diameter of 35 mm. For versatile use, I have included a simple air bleed feature that enables you to regulate the rotational speed of your tool as needed. This is an essential component in many applications where precision and control are paramount. As I'm new to this community, I don't feel qualified to offer recommendations on printer settings; however, if you're interested in acquiring this adapter or other related components, please contact me through my email address (j.zakariasen@me.com). In fact, I'd be happy to assist with sourcing the necessary parts for RichMac's turbine, including shafts and spacers. If there is sufficient interest, I can allocate some time over the holiday season to create a limited batch of these precision components on my lathe. Please note that as this lathe is not equipped with CNC capabilities, production will take longer, resulting in an estimated price range of $50 per item, plus shipping costs. If you need to obtain the collet and closer separately, you can do so at a local store. I was able to find them for around $17 each.
