Human-Made Turbine Created for Science Competition. The Science, On the Move! competition in 2015 involved creating a robot that would launch a racquetball onto a wall as many times possible within 60 seconds. Driven by compressed air, this turbine served as the motor's rotor. Constructed one millimeter larger than the 3-inch internal diameter of the ABS cap, it cooled down to contract its ABS components.
