Tupolev Tu-16 Badger A A Long-Serving Strategic Bomber for Russian Air Forces The Tupolev Tu-16 Badger A has been a mainstay of Russian air forces for nearly four decades. This large aircraft has undergone extensive modifications, resulting in over 1500 variants, including tanker, missile vector, electronic warfare, anti-ship attack, and reconnaissance configurations. The Chinese variant, Xian H-6, remains in service today. Printing the Tu-16 Badger A at a scale of 1:100 requires precise settings. To achieve optimal results, I used a 0.2mm nozzle with PrusaSlicer 2.0 on my Ender3. Although the model can be printed with a 0.4mm nozzle and 1:300 scale, I opted for the more detailed 0.12mm layer setting. The two-part version of the Tu-16 Badger A allowed me to preserve most of its intricate details, particularly in the tail and nose sections. With some gentle sanding, the glued joint becomes nearly invisible once painted. However, my printing experience was not without its challenges - the nose broke off, and the wing junction partially melted due to excessive glue. Erik
