Tuor was an important hero of the Norse kingdom of Monar who participated in the event known as the "Draugr Wars", alongside the people, coordinating escapes of entire villages before attacks by Arkenar's Draugr Legions. However, Tuor was captured, tortured, and given implants of a cold-molded, flesh-bonding metal called Izarnkol in his arms and legs. He then became a half-golem in the service of the Goddess Hell and her legions of Draugrs after Lord Arkenar's downfall by the sword of Thalion, the Knight of the Red Branch.
