The Aquatic Algae Remover is a scraper designed for efficient algae removal from fish aquariums. Its innovative design prevents sand from getting trapped between the scraper and glass, thereby reducing the risk of scratches. The interchangeable blades offer convenience, but there's a flaw in their attachment to the scraper body. Over time, the blue plastic component can warp, causing the blade to become loose and less effective. My improved design boasts increased rigidity and a more secure snap-fit mechanism that tightly holds the blade in place. Edits: 3/25/2017 - An added half-circle feature enhances the fit, making it easier when snapping into place.
