Tungsten Tig Grinder
thingiverse
I have designed a tungsten tig grinder in Fusion 360 that fits on my Dremel die grinder. It will probably fit other die grinders with a ¾” 10 TPI attachment point. It will grind angles from 15º to 90º @ 15º increments. It uses a 25 mm 180 grit diamond disk found here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RHJ67PD?ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details&th=1 . To use insert a 3/32 tungsten into the 3/32 hole and push up the diamond disk until it touches the tungsten and tighten the Dremel to the disk shaft. Insert one of the (5.28 mm) collets that comes with your tig torch for the size of tungsten you want to sharpen. I found that you can fully sharpen one 3/32 tungsten @ 30º before you need to pull the collet out to let it cool. I printed mine in ABS and it holds to the heat pretty well. In addition to the stl file I have included a step file as well as a Fusion 360 file so you will be able to modify this grinder to your needs. To assemble print the two halves out and Super Glue them together. You may have to clean up the holes with a proper sized drill bit. The collet holes need to fit as tight as possible so that the collet does not slide in and touch the diamond disk. Otherwise, put a piece of tape on the collet to block it from sliding to far. Ware a mask.
