Tundra Tracker Magnetic Charging Stand
thingiverse
After using [BearCubsTeacher's Index Controller magnetic charging stands](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3744655) for so long, now that I've got [Tundra Trackers](https://www.tundratracker.com/) I wanted a similar "drop it in and forget it" charging method for them, too. So I got to work making it happen. Included are versions for 1, 3, 5, and 7 Trackers. They are designed to be used with [NetDot Gen7 magnetic USB-C charging cables](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CH874KZ). You may need some hot-melt glue in the cable channels to hold them in place as you pull the tracker out, as I couldn't find a nice balance between "easy to install", "holds the cable down as you pull the tracker out", and "lets the cable move enough to let the magnet take care of alignment". These shouldn't need any particularly special print settings, though you might need to do a bit of filing work with layer heights over ~0.2, as the USB plug hole does _slightly_ cut into the 45° angle walls for the Tracker, and larger layer heights don't quite capture that. I print them as they would sit on my desk(Cable channels down, Tracker cavities up). A powered USB hub is recommended! This can also make it easy to update firmware on your trackers, as the NetDot cables support data, as well.
