Tundra Dash Drawer
thingiverse
in my 2010 Toyota Tundra there are 2 compartments in the Dash, one just in front of the shifter and one in the center console. these compartments do not have any sort of lip on them so anything you put in there that didn't wedge its self in tight was coming out and falling in the floorboard every time you start moving up hill. this was my solution to the problem. i created small "drawers" or really open top boxes that fit into each compartment. i added a space at the back of each drawer for a pair of 3mm X 1.5mm rare earth magnets. one glued into the drawer, one glued into the back of the compartment to hold it in when taking off up hill. i printed the drawer for the center compartment with the partial cover in the back since it slopes to avoid anything falling out but removing the support material was difficult so I don't think I recommend printing that version unless you really thing you need it. the drawers and the handle are separate prints and snap together. i designed the handle to sort of look like the AC control knobs and to be just big enough to grab with a couple fingers.
