Tumor-model (spherical coordinates)
thingiverse
A tumor can be precisely modeled using spherical coordinates with a mathematical equation: rho equals 1 plus one-fifth times the sine of m Theta times the sine of n Phi. This exacting model demonstrates the scenario where both m and n are set at their highest values, specifically eight and seven respectively. This complex model was skillfully designed by my talented WLU summer research student Ryan McDonnell class of '17. Dave Pfaff provided invaluable assistance to Ryan as he worked out how to intricately color the model within meshlab software.
