This is a remixed tumbler turner using the principal parts of... Tumbler Turner by PROPPER July 12, 2020 and... tumbler epoxy turner support bearings by broncoluvr74 November 27, 2020 I used the main part (headstock/base) from the PROPPER's Tumbler turner pretty much as designed, but added four pockets 3 mm deep in the base to reduce print time and material usage. There are also four 0.2 mm thick hold-down pads to help prevent the corners lifting while printing, easily removed after printing. The lid is reworked to incorporate a snap-in rocker switch in a convenient location. I added a file for a flanged drive bushing to fit 1/2" PVC pipe. The drive bushing may require a bit of filing to fit into the pipe, but it's pretty close. I designed a support rest using the upper half of broncoluvr74's adjustable support bearings with the height customized for a 1/2" PVC pipe spindle. It has a pair of wings on its base to facilitate alignment and clamping while gluing to the outer end of the turner base. Also included is a file for 3D printed press-in pins for the bearings, vice the screws in the original design. Either way is OK. The bearing pins, if you use them, may need just a little filing but I was aiming for a light press fit. NOTES: 1) A cut-off Q-Tip makes a great drive pin. 2) The motor I bought starts in a random direction. If stopped and restarted it MAY go the other way. It's not a toggle, just random. Weird! No harm done; just keep flipping the switch until it's going in the desired direction. 3) I printed the headstock/base without supports and the pockets I added in the bottom are pretty ugly from sagging but are not visible. If you can't live with that, turn on supports when printing that part. 4) Everything was printed with PLA, using 1 mm shell and 16% infill. 5) A 12" long piece of 1/2" PVC provides plenty of overhang beyond the support rest for mounting a workpiece. 6) There are no cooling vents for the motor. I don't recommend running for more than about an hour continuously. The motor is only 4 watts but it's in an insulated, closed box and it does get warm. 7) Cyanoacrylate gel worked well for gluing the support rest to the base and the drive bushing into the PVC pipe. 8) Motor - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G345S4H 9) Bearings are 608zz
