Tullich 16 is one of 27 intricately carved stones unearthed at the Tullich Church site in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. This stone boasts an elegantly outlined Greek-style cross with arms unfolding into a circular shape, featuring an incised circle centered within its framework and a smaller circle nestled snugly within each quadrant's sunken triangle. Crafted from vibrant pink granite, it measures precisely 430 x 240 x 100mm in size. Tullich 16 is part of a pair of stones (T17 being the other) that were discovered during excavations conducted in 2013 for an extension to the church cemetery. For more information on this stone and site, visit the Aberdeenshire HER. Scanning and modeling of the stone were commissioned by the Aberdeenshire Council Archaeology Service and executed with precision by AOC Archaeology.
