I used 4mm plywood for the uprights and 5mm plywood for the base and support for the lamp holder. You could also use 5mm plywood for the uprights, the design is designed for both 4mm and 5mm. To make the lamp you need to cut 24 ribs (that's why I divided them into 8), the base and the support for the lamp. I didn't use any glue but I just stuck the pieces together: I hope you like it.
