Tuck and hook (v2) minimal filament clip
prusaprinters

This is a minimal filament clip that employs friction to hold down the loose filament end.

Tuck the loose filament end into the angled hole then hook the clip to any strand on the spool. The angled hole should improve the friction to hold the filament end in place without getting undone. Since this is such a tiny clip, I've included a tab for ease of holding it.

Comes in both 1.75mm and 2.85mm sizes. Enjoy!

Update: I've added a V2.

Increase filament hole angle to increase friction

Deeper hook with better opening

I've also added the "Double Hook" versions if you don't prefer to use the hole. It simply offers two deep hooks instead.

Print instructions

Layer height: 0.15
Perimeter: 3
Infill: 0.15%
Support: No
