Tubular Structure Kit
thingiverse
Here is a set of components designed to assemble a suspension rack using tubes (metal, PVC) of varying sizes. Originally, I created it to hang Oculus Rift sensors as drilling into the ceiling proved ineffective. All parts come with variations for "large" (20~21.3mm, parts provide 22mm space), medium (10~13mm, parts offer 14mm) and small (6~8mm, parts give 8mm) piping. The components include: - Joint to connect cross pipe ends - Clamp to secure the structure, such as a tabletop - Oculus sensor clip, the only part currently included in the package to hang from the suspension - M10 screw endcap for clamps - M6 endcap Joints and clamps both require 2 M3 screws and matching bolts to tighten them around your tubes. Simply slide the tube into place and insert the screws into the correct holes, then tighten them. Clamps need an M10 screw (or an M6 screw for the small version) screwed in from the bottom, topped with endcap and tightened until the clamp pinches the table. I'm eager to hear suggestions for improvements or additions.
