Tubing Slicer
thingiverse
I needed to cut several feet of 3/8" rubber tubing quickly - to cover the edges on some sheet-metal shelving. So I came up with this simple cutting aid. With the aid, it took about 10 seconds to slice 10 ft of the tubing. I may never need it again, but it worked so well that I thought I would share it with others who might be in a similar situation. I'm glad to make edits to accommodate different sizes of tube. You simply place an X-ACTO knife (with a sharp blade) into the cutting aid - handle with care - assemble the two halves, and then slide the sleeve on to hold everything together securely.
