Tube Squeezer
thingiverse
This printable tool makes the most out of your tubes of toothpaste and lotion by providing an easy way to extract every last drop. At a recent trade show, it was noticeable how many beauty and cosmetic products used toothpaste tube-like containers, leading to representatives struggling to give out samples as the tubes became difficult to squeeze. To solve this problem, a makerbot could be used to create this tool, which has a slot width designed for the largest of flattened toothpaste tubes and a front slot that eases initial insertion. The large circular surface helps extract the last bit of product when the squeezer reaches the back of the nozzle. This design uses 2.7 cubic inches of material and can be scaled to fit the thickness of the tube being used. Simply measure the compressed tube, scale the .stl file accordingly, print, enjoy, and critique as desired.
