Tube rack
myminifactory
We're implementing a modular reuse system in our workshop for storing lengthy, slender items. So far, it appears to be working really well. This method seems particularly useful for organizing threaded rods, regular rods, round bar, pipes, linear shafts, or even storing ties, handkerchiefs, sticks and similar long, thin objects, or rolled-up materials. We believe this system could also be used in building stools and furniture. The design can be scaled to accommodate tubes of varying diameters. It was originally created for tubes with an outer diameter of 52mm, which is the default size. The zip ties used at the original scale are 4.8mm wide and need to be a minimum of 250mm long to assemble comfortably, but shorter lengths could potentially work as well. Our zip tie was 300mm long.
