This device helps you hold a thin glass tube when taking a blood sample by finger prick method (CT 095 Combo Blood Tubes). If you're on your own, it can be tricky to hold the glass tube while trying to squeeze out a drop of blood from your finger. This device was created specifically for that purpose. You simply place the delicate glass straw/tube into the device and adjust it to your desired angle, freeing up both hands. You now have one less thing to worry about when collecting your blood sample. The design allows you to fold this device up and store it in your pocket or bag, making it easy to take with you wherever you go. If needed, you can secure the device on a table using a book or other object, providing a steady base. Not many people need to do this, but if you're one of them or know someone who is, then this device may be just what they need. To print these parts, follow these instructions: Print Part A with the flat bottom facing down and no support or raft. Print Part B with the flat round section facing down and no support or raft. Part B fits into Part A by pressing/pushing it into place, creating a snug fit in the hollow section. Depending on your printer, you may find that it's either a tight or loose fit. If necessary, open up the hole for the tube using a small drill. I use standard printing settings: 0.4 nozzle and 0.2 layer height. These parts are printed in PLA with any color of your choice.
