Tube-guided Filament
thingiverse
On my Snapmaker A350, I had the problem that when it returned to the home position, the filament would not wind up, jumping off the spool and then wrap around the spool holder. My A350 is now in a housing. The arrangement of the filament outside is also not satisfactory, so I created this solution. The filament should be guided in a tube from the hole in the acrylic side panel to the print head. Soon I had the idea to do this with a 6mm pneumatic tube. Fortunately, my father still had some hose and the connections in stock. I turned the arrangement of the spool holder by 90° to make it easier to lead it through the side panel to the inside of the case. Between the print head and the holder a piece of foam can be inserted to clean the filament. - - - What is else needed beside the prinded parts? - 2x connectors; like KQ2S06-01AS* from SMC https://www.smc.eu/de-ch/produkte/kq2s-steckverschraubung-gerade-mit-aussengewinde-und-innensechskant~159161~cfg - 2x sleeve nuts 15mm (?); like the ones from IKEA holding together cabinets https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datei:H%C3%BClsenmuttern.jpg
