Tube Cap for wifi Antenna
thingiverse
Hello! I design some caps for creating a cheap outdoor WiFi 2.4 GHz antenna. The antenna was created by Martin, who can be found at martybugs.net. To build this antenna, you'll need the following materials: 1. One piece of electrical PVC pipe with a diameter of 20mm. 2. One blind cap. 3. One BNC cap. 4. A copper electrical wire with a cross-sectional area of 2.5mm². 5. A mount panel BNC connector. Martin's tutorial for calculating the antenna can be found at martybugs.net/wireless/collinear.cgi. To assemble this antenna, start by drilling holes in the PVC pipe using a 12mm drill bit. Next, glue the caps onto the tube. Due to the design, adjustments may require some force and care as they can be quite tight.
