To patch up a leaky tub faucet, I had to bolt on an extra piece and the adapter stuck out beyond the wall so the slip-fit tub faucet wouldn't sit flush against the wall. I printed this shim and colored it the same hue as the surrounding wall. I believe it looks more appealing than the spacers available in stores, which were all made of shiny chrome-plated plastic. I printed four shells because I intended to sand and paint it afterwards.
