Maybe you remember my first design and PLA print of the 1000mm narrow gauge tank car - you'll find it here. Now we have a TTm and a H0m design ready for resin printer.H0m-Version is here.About the tank carThe original tank car was built in 1900 to transport sulphur acid. [1]The GHE (Gernrode-Harzgeroder Eisenbahngesellschaft, Selketalbahn) used this tank car between Gernrode and Fluor (siding named fluorine) until 1945. Fluor was near Straßberg. Sulphur acid is necessary for hydrofluoric acid fabrication. 1946 this siding as well a lot of tracks were removed.[3]The car was later used as water tank for the firefighter train between 1955 and 75 [2]. Actually it is part of the collection of historical wagons. Finally we have a nice picture from 1983 as well as different drawings in [4] and [5]. I've got some actual pictures from a friend to close the gaps between drawings and reality.Now the car is painted black with a light gray tank.Printing and building the carI printed:tanks standing on the open side - helps for nice bolts.frame flipped 180° with light supports (auto created in Lychee and more added)rand rails standing with about 25° to the inner sideYou have to cut or sand the small red marked pieces on the platform side.I hope Thingiverse will keep the image links ...You'll should test and maybe widen the bearings for your wheel-setsI added some lead inside the frame, you can also add some weight to the tank.Feel free to use sprocket wheels, at the moment I use 5,6mm wheel-sets for N gauge.Updates2023-11-29Some little changes on the frame with tank bearings.Added the frame and separate tank bearings to play with - but keep in mind, because of overlapping parts in original design, this will not fit without cutting/sanding.SourcesThe design is based several drawings and pictures - including several made by Julius.I don't want any commercial use of this design and prints.You are free to print my work for your projects, close friends and maybe your model railway club.
