In 1908 the 1000mm narrow gauge railway between Gernrode and Harzgerode got 20 open 10t carriages with wooden or steel doors from Hofmann in Breslau[1]. They were numbered from GHE 163 to 182. Their design reminds of a bed frame. After 1945 the GHE had only 4 freight wagons left[2]. One of our wagons with DR number 99-03-38 with steel doors photographed in 1970 can be found in [1] on page 119. I use number 99-03-38 in filenames but see this as family of several wagons. Here we have the variant with wooden doors and steel doors in 1/120 and 1/87 scale for resin print. The one steel door variant has patches at wooden parts -- 2 according the picture and one random at the other side. ###Printing I print them upside down (135°) and 0,035 mm layer height. The TT version has M2.5 screw threads, the H0 version 2.5mm holes for couplings. I added an experimental clip for H0 NEM 362 couplings and N-style couplings with 7 and 10 mm length. I printed them but not tested yet. Finally added TTm\_GHE\_99-03-38\_V08-Kupplung L 7mm.stl as my preferred and used couppling You should add hand rails and break handle, first level steps from brass and maybe a cylinder for air breaks. TTm\_GHE\_99-03-38\_V08-Ladeplatte.stl is a baseplate for load, I printed on my Ender in PLA. Please post your makes, the number one reason for improvements to my models is the fact that you use them. ###Colour According [1] p 123 all freight cars were painted green. The remaining could be painted brown later. I decided to use brown variants. ###Updates 2023-07-14: added some parts after finishing my work 2023-04-26: added an experimental clip for NEM 362 couplings for H0 and 2 sizes for TTm (I didn't test these on the trucks). 2023-04-15: replaced all and added version 08 including steel door variant 2023-04-13: updated H0m version for better wheel fit ###Origin and licensing The design is based on [1]. I don't want any commercial use of this design and prints. You are free to print my work for your projects, close friends and maybe your model railway club. If you are representing a model or railway club, a school or something comparable with these and want to use it for educational purposes in higher numbers, please tell me. ###Sources [1] Zieglgänsberger, G., Röper, H. & Roeper, H.
