This is a case for the TTGO version 2.1 ESP32 LoRa development board with external antenna, designed specifically for the ESP32-Paxcounter project on GitHub. The case provides full access to all connectors and the reset button, ensuring seamless functionality. A small compartment is also available for storing a battery or accumulator, keeping it organized and within reach. To maintain optimal airflow, the case features hexagonal openings for ventilation, which helps to prevent overheating of the chip and battery. Optional Fixing Covers with Screws: While covers fit snugly into the case, you may still want to use screws to secure them firmly. The case has pre-drilled holes for this purpose. To fix the covers in place, you will need 7 PT-screws measuring 1.8x16 and a Torx T5 or T6 screwdriver. Additionally, you will have to drill 7 holes in the box with a 2mm drill bit. Optional Plexiglas Shield: Protecting the OLED screen with a plexiglas shield is also an option. To create one, order a laser-cut design from Formulor using the SVG file included in the thing files. You will receive 12 pieces to fit the smallest material size available on their website. You will need a single additional PT-screw measuring 1.8x4 for this purpose. Sourcing: Please note that I have no affiliation with any of the listed shops. Germany: * PT-screws can be sourced from Screwerk by searching for KN6041. * Laser-cut plexiglas shields are available at Formulor. Updates: July 25, 2018: A no-accu-box variant was added to the design.
