The Zastava M57 (Tetov) is a semi-automatic pistol produced by the now Zastava Arms company in former Yugoslavia, which was based on the Soviet Tokarev TT-33 design. Accepted in 1957 and mass-produced from 1960, this firearm served as an official weapon in the Yugoslav army and police forces. Despite being a copy of the TT-33, technical differences between the two models are almost negligible; the most significant difference is that M57 uses a nine-round magazine while TT-33 utilizes an eight-round one. This larger capacity, however, results in a slightly larger grip on the M57 model. Additionally, the return spring guide of the Zastava pistol consists of two parts.
