Me and some friends stumbled upon the board game Tsuro a few months ago, and we quickly realized that making a nicer board and introducing variant gamemodes would be a relatively simple task. So, here's a version of the game featuring a triangular board. To create this custom version, you'll need to print: Three copies of the board corner One copy of the Dragon tile Five copies of each of the seven individual regular tiles As many game pieces as you think you'll need will also come in handy. The original square-form Tsuro allows up to eight players, but we haven't play-tested the triangular version yet. Based on our initial impressions, I'm guessing it won't be easy to accommodate that many players. My guess is that six is the maximum number of players for this variant. Since I'm unsure about the copyright implications, I won't post the rules of the game here. However, I assume that the triangular board is derivative enough to be fair game, and the rules can easily be found online or in the regular version of the game if you happen to own it. A new twist on a classic game is always welcome!
