Tsuba for plastic katana
thingiverse
First time design project in Fusion360. A new cosplay is on the horizon and a custom sword is necessary, so I purchased a high-quality plastic katana but its tsuba didn't match the character's design. To get accurate measurements, I carefully removed it and crafted a replacement with the exact desired design. This isn't just any ordinary tsuba; the main model incorporates a handle cap because that's how the original piece was designed. Additionally, I seized the opportunity to create an extra "keeper" component. The files are available here before printing them out, as my print queue is quite long at present. This makes it easier for me to transfer them from my workplace where they were designed to my home where the printer is set up. Please accept my apologies for the miscellaneous pictures scattered throughout; I'm experimenting with Fusion's render options.
