A Simple Adapter Design A simple adapter allows the use of the new TSDZ2 drive side shaft seal, which is smaller, with older style chainring spiders that have a 108 BCD, etc. Best printed in PETG for durability. The design features a push fit from the outward facing side, requiring some force to install if your printer scaling is accurate due to its tight fit. Once installed, I applied silicon sealant to the inside of the spider for a watertight seal. Running one of these adapters for 2 winters now without any issues has been a great experience.
