I just got my new toy, the awesome TS80 soldering iron. Normally, I should have received with this order a colorful storage box as a gift but Banggood forgot to include it in the package. So I decided to design and create a custom protective box for myself. At the bottom of this sturdy box, I can accommodate the USB transformer with its adapter, the cable, the Allen wrench, and an anti-static cord. On the top surface, I clipped my TS80 soldering iron securely in place, along with two extra solder tips. With some extra space left over, I designed a small decorative wheel to attach to the box for a unique touch. I'm really hoping that this custom box will bring a smile to the face of whoever owns and uses my new TS80. For printing this customized storage case, I used an Alfawise U20 3D printer. Here are the details: Print Settings: Printer: Alfawise U20 Rafts: No support structures needed. Supports: No additional supports were required. Resolution: The print was set at a high resolution of 0.2mm for excellent detail and smooth finish. Infill: The interior of the box had an infill density of 20% to provide optimal structural integrity while keeping material usage to a minimum. Filament used: Alfawise & BQ PLA, a high-quality and eco-friendly filament option that's perfect for printing decorative items like this custom storage case.
