I thoroughly admired SunBarts' design, but dreaded the thought of cutting a piece of copper to support the iron tip. As they cleverly mentioned in their own description, the collar of the iron stays cool so it can rest comfortably on plastic surfaces. They, being exceptional human beings, kindly provided the step files, making it incredibly easy to import into OnShape and edit with precision. I also created a solder mesh dome to fit perfectly in the designated area they provided since I didn't already have one available. I've included all the necessary step files for your convenience, but if you wish to make any changes or add something else entirely, feel free to fork the OnShape design.
