TS100 Soldering Iron Station for Makita XT
thingiverse
I needed a TS100 Holder specifically designed for my Makita XT Batteries. The holder itself isn't perfect yet, as the copper tube gets too hot, so I'll probably swap it out later on. As a Solidworks beginner, my design might not be the best. You can use this holder with either the 19V wall plug or the 18V XT battery, but don't try to combine them without adding a charging circuit for Makita batteries. The base of the holder is available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:352094. Check it out for the necessary parts. For the upper part, I used a 5.5/2.5 plug and socket (8mm outer diameter), a two-wire silicone cable, an XT60 plug and socket, a sponge, and a 12mm copper tube. Feel free to modify or improve my design. Some additional cables and blade terminal plugs are needed for the base. If you come up with a better way to hold the iron, let me know - mine isn't perfect. Print settings are up to your preference.
