I need a more heat-resistant holder for my TS100 soldering iron and I had the idea to do it with a 608ZZ ball bearing. You'll require these items: - Best: A full metal or ceramic 608ZZ ball bearing. The 608-2RS model with plastic caps and spacer may also work, but it could melt. - An M3 screw that's 12mm or longer - An M3 spring or a normal washer - An M3 nut - Best: A soldering sponge measuring 45mm x 55mm in its wet state.
