TS100 soldering iron finger guard and stand
thingiverse
I want to create a super simple finger guard that prevents burnt fingers if I slip, and it does just that, plus more! It also doubles as a stand that can't fall over. All you have to do is pull out the tip and place the printed stand guard on it (with the rounded side facing your fingers for best results) and then reattach the tip. You can adjust the angle so when used as a stand, you can see the screen at its best. As we already know, this area of the tip stays cool to the touch, so don't worry about your print melting.
