TS100 Soldering Base Station I'd seen plenty of setups like this before, but nothing really grabbed my attention or met my needs. This station was designed from scratch with a tolerance of about 0.25mm in mind. The 8mm rod used for the solder holder is actually just an ordinary 8mm wooden dowel. For the soldering metal sponge cleaner, I recommend checking out this product on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Soldering-Cleaner-Cleaning-Solder-Irons/dp/B088DP77PS/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=soldiering+iron+cleaner&qid=1594049475&sr=8-5 I opted for a generic, affordable metal stand to hold the soldering iron (the long post). To attach the solder holder to the base's top cutouts, I simply used super glue.
