TS100 Case and Holder (Heavy Duty)
thingiverse
Case for Soldering Iron TS 100, complete with holder for the iron during soldering operations. Modifications have been made to the initial design of the case: 1) All walls are now 2.4 mm thick. A previous version of the case was damaged when stored in a tool box. 2) The holder features a 608 bearing, easily sourced from skateboard or spinner components. 3) Assembling the box involves inserting a piece of filament into the hinge. 4) No magnets are required for this design. This project builds upon a model created by GunSmoker. A remix option is available in the list, and the original model has been included in Fusion 360 to facilitate further modifications. Users can make alterations or request changes directly from the creator. Printing with SBS plastic yields a soft result; however, ABS or PLA may present challenges when inserting the soldering iron into the case due to their harder properties.
