TS Water Fuel Cell V7
thingiverse
Next version of my water fuel cell still under development uses tubes with part numbers from McMaster-Carr. The tubes are numbered 89785K844 which is a 1/2" x 3.5" tube that comes in sets of six and 89785K837 which is a 3/8" x 4" tube also coming in sets of six. This design fits inside a 4" ABS tube, use the accompanying hole template to make holes for the electrical contacts and utilize the cap ring to isolate the middle tubes from the top. The gap between the tubes with these part numbers should be 0.7mm and each pair of tubes with air as the dielectric will have a capacitance of approximately 43pf due to their length. Dimensions play a crucial role in the water fuel cell's design, especially if you want it to function like Stan Meyer designed his to. These dimensions are based on my calculations for this system but may not work for your specific design so do your research. This version remains untested as of June 18th, 2018.
