<p>TS-100 soldering iron case. As small as possible. I added the little compartment for the 5 threaded heat inserts. The picture reference for bending the wire.</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/285048/rich_content/6be7d325-ee91-4fe6-8017-bda6ba46fb38/screenshot-2022-09-28-204507.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%225cf0b311-58e6-469f-a033-43a481c697e6%22%2C%22w%22%3A586%2C%22h%22%3A238%7D"></figure><p><strong>Other sources:</strong></p><p>The original design is from: <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4307696">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4307696</a>&nbsp;</p><p>I used a technic I saw on reedit to print onto a laser printer overhead folio to transfer the print to the 3D print. You can find more details for this technic: <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/FDM_TonerTransfer/">https://www.reddit.com/r/FDM_TonerTransfer/</a>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Slicer settings:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>concentric bottom layer&nbsp;</li><li>first layer printed with 90 degrees build plate - I'm here not 100% sure if you used the correct temperature. Because the water under the foil starts to boil on small prints, that's okay, but the bigger ones start to warp a little bit. The foil sticks to the print, but the foil starts to lift with the print.</li></ul><p><strong>Steps to follow for the toner transfer:</strong></p><ol><li>You need a <strong>laser printer</strong></li><li>Also, you need <strong>overhead foil </strong>for a laser printer because they can are more heat-resistant<img class="image_resized" style="width:33.56%;" src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/285048/rich_content/04c0de2c-c98c-4735-9704-01c5a4ef111b/pxl_20220926_140820841.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%2288ee5fcf-c4fa-4ad1-8493-a49ec454ef92%22%2C%22w%22%3A2160%2C%22h%22%3A2480%7D"></li><li>Print your <strong>design reversed</strong> onto the foil</li><li>print the <strong>first outline</strong> (skirt and first line of the wall)</li><li>take the foil and <strong>align</strong> it to the outline and fix one side with <strong>tape</strong> to the build plate<img class="image_resized" style="width:34.69%;" src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/285048/rich_content/875d1846-dcf2-4342-b213-19911f3c1991/pxl_20220926_142036253.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%229999b837-26d6-42c3-a5b1-f1821644e652%22%2C%22w%22%3A2160%2C%22h%22%3A2160%7D"></li><li><strong>remove </strong>the outline</li><li>Put a tiny bit of <strong>water </strong>under the foil. And push it with a paper towel to the sides. (Be careful with your 3D printer doesn't like water) So you get the foil perfectly onto the build plate</li><li>Now fix the other sides with tape and <strong>resume </strong>the print<img class="image_resized" style="width:39.42%;" src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/285048/rich_content/730ce31b-cf52-408f-aa66-e319b124a367/pxl_20220926_142445450.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%223f40ceaf-07ff-42b2-9c39-ef9eaf0bad07%22%2C%22w%22%3A2160%2C%22h%22%3A2160%7D"></li><li>Let the build plate<strong> cool down</strong> and then slowly remove the print</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>If you like to, check out </strong><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/social/194698-max-siebenschlafer/prints?o=liked"><strong>my other designs</strong></a><strong> too!</strong></p>
