This piece keeps windows at my mom's house slightly ajar, stopping them from swinging wildly with the wind. The handle of one window slides into this piece, but it's been over 10 years since the frames were installed, and age along with a few rough treatments have severely damaged one of them, cutting it in half. As a result, windows can only be fully open or shut. My sister went to a specialized store to see if she could order this piece, but the response was simply to buy new windows. I used the least damaged piece available on other house windows as a model, and after 1h30 of work, the job was done. If someone somewhere needs this piece someday, I call upon all the gods and spirits of nature, old and new, to guide them here.
