This is a unique combo cover and IKEA Trådfri on/off switch adapter. When you're unable or unwilling to modify an existing switch yet still want to control your lights with a Trådfri switch, ensure that the "actual switch" remains constantly on. With this cover, family members won't be able to turn it off, and at the same time, you'll get a holder for your little Trådfri switch. The existing switch covered by this model has the following dimensions: Length: 90 mm Width: 90 mm Height: 11mm (plus 7mm for the "switch flipper") Attach the cover with a strip of double-sided tape on top of the existing switch and at the bottom. Also, attach it inside the extrude where the Trådfri should be mounted. I opted not to use the metal plate from IKEA, but I might revise the design to include screw holes and utilize the metal plate in the future.
