Description of the Hands-On Activity: "Sheet Metal Master"Purpose:To introduce young participants to basic sheet metalworking skills through a hands-on and interactive activity, while providing insight into the creativity and technical aspects of the trade.Structure of the Activity:Age Group: 10-16 years, plus parents and teachers.Materials:Sheet metal strips of various lengths and colors.Tools for measuring, cutting, and bending.Safety goggles and gloves for protection.Modules (templates) for levels 1 to 3.Levels:Level 1 (Beginner): A simple module introducing basic measuring and cutting.Level 2 (Intermediate): Includes more complex shapes Level 3 (Advanced): Combines measuring, cutting, and bending to create a more complex module that requires precision and creativity.Instructions:Introduction: A brief overview of the activity and safety information. Participants are tasked with choosing a module based on their comfort level and interest.Measuring and Calculation: Participants start by measuring and calculating the necessary lengths of the sheet metal strips for their chosen module. Instructors are on hand to assist and provide tips.Cutting and Bending: After measuring, cutting follows and, for higher levels, bending of the metal to fit into the module. Assembly: Once all parts are ready, they are assembled to complete the module.
