Front servo mount for the Traxxas TRX4 Sport. (for the -kit or any other variants with inner fenders, see thing #5452730). It replaces the original bumper support (8237) and the original servo mount (8239), so it is meant to be for steering only, not for servo winches. Good reasons for reloacating the servo are: - more forward weight, - prevent collision of servo horn to panhard rod at full droop, - create more space for bigger or forward mounted motors, - create space for front longitudinal mounted battery pack. This servo mount was designed for either the original Traxxas servo (2075X), or slightly lager ones like the Power HD LW25MG in particular. As I use the Traxxas metal servo horn (8247X), the servo sits as low as possible. That said, other servo horns than the original plastic or metal servo horn from Traxxas could collide with the lower steering rod. For connecting the 2 parts, you may use either plastic screws (e.g. 2.9x10mm) or M3x8 screws (like the standard hardware, e.g. Traxxas 2576). There are 2 additional fixation points behind the servo location, for anything to be mounted there, e.g. battery tray, winch controller, ... Hope you like it! Best regards from Bernd's Custom 3D's.
