TRX-4 Servo Winch Mount
thingiverse
I decided to create my own winch mounts since none were available that met my requirements. Having the winch on its side with an internal spool might be beneficial, but I prefer this design, so we'll see how it performs under load as I need the winch line to run beneath my bumper. Additionally, by placing this servo winch between the steering servo and the FlySky receiver, I can accommodate both components seamlessly. I positioned the winch low on purpose, understanding that some may find it too low, but with my hard body G500, it fits perfectly under the bumper. If you prefer a higher setup, you can easily rotate the servo, placing the spool on top and aligning it with the stock bumpers. To mount the front bumper's second hole, you'll need longer screws that pass through both the stock bumper mount, the rails, and the servo mount. I repurposed screws from other areas of my chassis where plastic components were previously held in place but no longer needed. The spool consists of a 3D printed core sandwiched between two aluminium servo horns sourced from AliExpress.
