This custom design combines Red Duke's innovative "Rear frame fill in" solution and Traxxas' versatile part "TRX8239 chassis crossmember." The result is a seamless integration of CippyO's user-friendly "Low CG Battery tray for TRX-4 easy to print" (thing ID 2848242), allowing it to securely accommodate the powerful "TRX2842X Traxxas 5000mah 7.4v 2-cell 25c Lipo Battery." To get started: Print - This custom design - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2848242 Assembly - install CippyO's Low CG Battery tray - remove the TRX8239 'chassis crossmember' and save the screws - remove the TRX8072 fenders or (in my case) slip aside the TRX8057 chassis conversion kit - remove the rear tires - remove the battery (of course, you fitted it to ensure safety) - drill six 2.4mm holes in the printed custom design via the existing holes of the 'TRX8220 chassis rails' - assemble the printed custom design with the saved screws Enjoy a TRX-4 that performs even better!
