Truss Cable Clip fitting 50mm Trusses
thingiverse
I required a fast and affordable solution for adding cables to a 50mm truss. I dislike using Velcro straps, so I chose the Version 3 instead, which can hold up to 350g per clip with a 4mm height setting. The 3G Version, featuring a rubber or wire attachment, offers slightly more holding power. Impressive is the fact that the 4k version was able to support a household pot weighing 1500g, and I believe it could handle even more. With one clip spaced every 20-30cm, you can securely hold up to six DMX, energy or speaker cables in place. If added strength is required, simply print the clips taller. For my specific needs, this size was sufficient. Additional clips are available for power strips, offered in two sizes: S and L. If the larger size proves too unstable, try using the smaller one instead - it's about 4mm narrower and 2mm shorter in height. Have fun with this project! Happy rigging.
