I'm thrilled to be scanning the trunk of a tree near my hometown in southwest Germany, where I've been hiking recently and capturing images with my trusty iPhone 5s. Yesterday's adventure yielded some great results, despite the limitations of my old camera - now I'm eager to upgrade to something better for even more precise photogrammetry!
